With increase of Mpox cases in Africa when calling the surgery if you are experiencing a rash and feeling unwell with flu-like symptoms our care navigators will ask you if you have travelled to Central Africa in the last month.
If this is the case, the GP will initially assess you over the phone and decide whether to bring you in for a face to face appointment if required.
