Test Results Request

Please note, we request that you do not assume that a result is normal if we do not contact you. The surgery will contact you if there is a significant problem with your results, but please contact us for all results as the GP may have made some suggestions or advice based on your results even if there is not a significant problem. If you would like to get test results, please call us on Tel 0118 9690160 Option 2.You can view test results on your NHS APP to register for online servicesto have the ability to Book or Cancel an Appointment, Request a Repeat Prescription, Change Personal Details and View your Medical Records without visiting the practice and test results.

When the test results will be available

Approximate number of working days for tests ordered at surgery:

• Blood Tests – 5 working days unless otherwise advised
• X-Ray – 2 weeks
• Urine Test – 5 working days
• Biopsy – 8 weeks
• Smear Test – 8 weeks
• Stool Test – 2 weeks
